  • Spread and odds: Pittsburgh +3.0 at 5/6, Baltimore -3.0 at 1/1
  • Head to Head: Pittsburgh is 5-1 ATS in their past six games in Baltimore

  • Spread and odds: Dallas (+3.5) at 10/11, Tennessee (-3.5) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: No recent Head to Head trends
  • Match up Summary:  The Titans have implemented a new defensive system under Ray Horton and a new offensive system under Ken Whisenhunt. The club looked good in both departments in week one with 26-10 victory over Kansas City. The defense managed to sack Kansas quarterback Alex Smith a total of four times which resulted in Smith losing 24 yards. They should do just as well against the Cowboys and Tony Romo.
  • Dallas:
    • Overall Record: 0-1
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0
    • Home Record: 0-1

  • Spread and odds: Arizona (-2.5) at 10/11, Philadelphia (+2.5) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: The visiting club has gone 7-3 ATS in their past 10 meetings
  • Match up Summary:  Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning didn’t fare too well in week one as he threw more picks than touchdowns. The team’s new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo didn’t really have an answer for their first-week struggles as it looks like he preferred to bypass Victor Cruz to target rookie tight end Larry Donnell instead. Arizona racked up more than 400 offensive yards against San Diego last week and they should give the Giants some problems here. The Giants defense had a hard time in week one as they allowed Detroit to gain 341 passing yards.
  • Arizona:
    • Overall Record: 1-0
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0

  • Spread and odds:  New England (-3.0) at 10/11, Minnesota (+3.0) at 10/11
  • Head to Head:  No recent trends
  • Match up Summary:  The Patriots took a 20-10 lead against the Miami Dolphins in week one, but they then allowed the Dolphins to come back as they failed to put anymore points up on the scoreboard. The Vikings looked good last week as they hammered the St. Louis Rams 34-6 and are perhaps a better team than most fans realize.
  • New England:
    • Overall Record: 0-1
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0

  • Spread and odds: New Orleans (-6.5) at 10/11, Cleveland (+6.5) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: No recent trends
  • Match up Summary:  Both of these teams lost their season openers and the Browns also lost a couple of their top offensive players in tight end Jordan Cameron and running back Ben Tate to injury. The Browns will have a tough time taking care of The Saints’ Drew Brees, Brandin Cooks and Jimmy Graham. New Orleans went 4-1 ATS last season after a loss. The dropped a 37-34 decision in overtime to Atlanta last week.
  • New Orleans:
    • Overall Record: 0-1

  • Spread and odds: Atlanta (+5.0) at 10/11, Cincinnati (-5.0) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: No recent trends
  • Match up Summary:  Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan set a brand new club record in week one when he clicked for 448 passing yards. The Falcons also pulled off an upset over the New Orleans Saints with their 37-34 overtime win. Atlanta should be able to handle the Bengals in this contest. Cincinnati blew a 15-point second-half lead against Baltimore last week.
  • Atlanta:
    • Overall Record: 1-0
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 1-0-0

Sunday, September 14th

Detroit Lions (1st – NFC North) at Carolina Panthers (1st – NFC South) at Bank of America Stadium (1:00 PM ET)

  • Spread and odds:  Detroit (+3.0) at 5/6, Carolina (-3.0) at 1/1
  • Head to Head:  Detroit is 4-0 ATS against Carolina in their past four outings.
  • Match up Summary:  Both teams were winners in week one with Derek Anderson of the Panthers filling in at quarterback for the injured Cam Newton last week against a tough Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad. The Carolina defense was also in form as they allowed Tampa 162 passing yards and just 264 in total. Detroit’s Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford look like they’re going to have great years, but the Panthers should be even stronger this week with Newton back in the lineup after his rib injury.
  • Detroit:
    • Overall Record: 1-0
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 1-0-0
    • Home Record: 1-0

Sunday, September 14th

  • Spread and odds: St. Louis (+6.0) at 10/11, Tampa Bay (-6.0) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: The underdog has gone 6-2-1 ATS in their past nine meetings.
  • Match up Summary:  Veteran quarterback Shaun Hill, who’s filling in for the injured Sam Bradford, will probably miss the game for St. Louis and it looks like Austin Davis will take over for him. Tampa Bay scored a couple of late touchdowns last week against the Carolina Panthers, but dropped the game by a 20-14 score. However, they should be able to bounce back here against the Rams, who looked completely lost last week.
  • St. Louis:
    • Overall Record: 0-1
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0
    • Home Record: 0-1

Sunday, September 14th

Seattle Seahawks (1st – NFC West) at San Diego Chargers (4th – AFC West) at Qualcomm Stadium (4:05 PM ET)

  • Spread and odds: Seattle (-5.5) at 10/11, San Diego (+5.5) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: Seattle is 4-1 ATS in their past five outings.
  • Match up Summary:  Seattle won their opener while the Chargers lost. San Diego will likely try to go with a passing game this year, but Seattle is quite good at taking that part of the game away from their opponents. At least that’s how it looked last week against the Green Bay Packers. Running back Marshawn Lynch was a standout in week one for the Seahawks and it’ll be interesting to see if he can follow it up with another good game.
  • Seattle:
    • Overall Record: 1-0
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 1-0-0

Sunday, September 14th

Houston Texans (2nd – AFC South) at Oakland Raiders (3rd – AFC West) at O.co Coliseum (4:25 PM ET)

  • Spread and odds: Houston (-3.0) at 21/20, Oakland (+-3.0) at 4/5
  • Head to Head: The visiting club has gone 5-2 ATS in their past seven encounters.
  • Match up Summary:  Houston won’t have rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney in the lineup as he injured his knee in their week-one win. However, J.J. Watt is already in top form with a sack and three tackles last week and that’s a big help. Oakland lost to the New York Jets last week and could muster up just 158 yards in total offense.
  • Houston:
    • Overall Record: 1-0
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 1-0-0
    • Home Record: 1-0

Sunday, September 14th

N.Y. Jets (2nd – AFC East) at Green Bay Packers (3rd – NFC North) at Lambeau Field (4:25 PM ET)

  • Spread and odds: New York (+8.0) at 10/11, Green Bay (-8.0) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: The home side has gone 3-0-2 ATS in their past five meetings.
  • Match up Summary:  The Green Bay Packers dropped the season opener 36-16 to the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks last week so this game might seem a bit easier for them since quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have to face the Legion of Boom. Rodgers gained 282 passing yards per game on average last year and look for him to hit that form again against the Jets here.
  • NY Jets:
    • Overall Record: 1-0
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0
    • Home Record: 1-0

  • Spread and odds: Kansas City (+13.0) at 10/11, Denver (-13.0) at 10/11
  • Head to Head: Kansas City is 4-9 ATS in their past 13 contests in Denver
  • Match up Summary:  The Broncos hung on to beat the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday night by a score of 31-24, but they didn’t cover the spread. The Chiefs went down in week one and will probably do so again this weekend. The Chiefs were beaten by the Tennessee Titans and allowed 243 passing yards against them.
  • Kansas City:
    • Overall Record: 0-1
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0

Sunday, September 14th

Chicago Bears (4th – NFC North) at San Francisco 49ers (2nd – NFC West) at Levi’s Stadium (8:30 PM ET)

  • Spread and odds: Chicago (+7.0) at 20/23, San Francisco (-7.0) at 20/21
  • Head to Head: Chicago has gone 0-4 ATS in their past four visits to San Francisco.
  • Match up Summary:  The San Francisco 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday 28-17 and that score actually flattered the Cowboys. The Bears were upset at home in their opener and will probably have a hard time of it out on the west coast at the new Levi’s Stadium. Look for San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick to have another good game. He threw for a TD and 201 yards last week.
  • Chicago:
    • Overall Record: 0-1
    • Record Against the Spread (won-lost-push): 0-1-0

Monday, September 15th

Philadelphia Eagles (1st – NFC East) at Indianapolis Colts (3rd – AFC South) at Lucas Oil Stadium (8:30 PM ET)

  • Spread and odds: Philadelphia (+3.0) at 20/21, Indianapolis (-3.0) at 20/23
  • Head to Head: No recent trends
  • Match up Summary:  The Eagles were winners in week one while the Colts were beaten. Philadelphia fell behind 17-0 to Jacksonville in the first half last week, but rebounded for a big win. Zach Ertz and Jeremy Maclin will be tough for the Colts defense to handle considering the Denver Broncos’ Julius Thomas scored three touchdowns on them last week and also gained 104 receiving yards.
