As far as the injury loss goes, Craig Shakespeare will be missing midfielders Nampalys Mendy and Daniel Drinkwater for the rest of the season along with defender Molla Wague. In addition, defender Robert Huth is questionable for Thursday’s match.

Tottenham wrapped up the runners-up spot on the weekend with their home win over Manchester United. They also went undefeated at home for the first time since 1964/65 with a record of 17 wins and two draws. Spurs have 80 points from 22 wins, eight draws and four defeats with 73 goals for and a league-low 24 against. Tottenham has a league-best nine victories and one loss in their past 10 league games with 23 goals for and just six against. However, the closest they can finish to first-place Chelsea is one point if Spurs win their last two games and Chelsea loses theirs.
Tottenham also has a good away record this season with seven wins six draws and four losses while scoring 26 times and allowing 15 goals against. Spurs have a seven-point lead on third-place Liverpool with a Liverpool having just one game to play and they sit eight points in front of fourth-place Manchester City. As far as injuries are concerned, manager Mauricio Pochettino will be without midfielder Harry Winks and forward Erik Lamela for the remainder of the season but is hoping defender Danny Rose will be back in the squad.
