As far as injuries are concerned, defender Virgil Van Dijk is on the shelf along with midfielder Matthew Targett while forward Charlie Austin is still a few weeks away from returning. In addition, midfielder Jeremy Pied is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Spurs have no choice but to win here if they hope to have any chance at all of catching Chelsea. Southampton is probably safe from relegation, but every point helps and they’ll probably be happy with a draw on Sunday.
