Burnley enters the weekend in 13th place in the 20-team league. They have nine wins, five draws and 15 losses with 31 goals scored and 42 allowed. Their 32 points gives them an eight-point lead on 18th-place Hull City and the relegation zone. Burnley has just two wins in their past 10 league outings along with three draws and five defeats while scoring 10 times and conceding 13.

Burnley has been a fine home team this season with all nine of their wins coming at Turf Moor along with two draws and three losses. They’ve scored 22goals at home and allowed 12 against. As far as injuries go, midfielder Johann Gudmundsson is listed as day-to-day while midfielder Dean Marney is out for the rest of the season due to knee surgery.

Tottenham Hotspur – A Closer Look:

Tottenham enters the contest still in second place in the Premier League standings. They’re 10 points behind Chelsea, two in front of third-place Manchester City and three points in front of fourth-place Liverpool with a game in hand. They’re also seven ahead of fifth-place Manchester United with United having a game in hand. Arsenal and Everton are nine points behind Spurs with Arsenal having a game in hand and Spurs having a game in hand on Everton.

Tottenham has 59 points from 17 victories, eight draws and three defeats with 55 goals scored and a shared league-low 21 against with Chelsea. Spurs have seven wins, two draws and a loss in their past 10 league games with 22 goals for and eight against. They’re undefeated at home in league play this campaign with 13 wins and a pair of draws including a club record 10 straight wins. They’ve scored 35 goals at home and allowed just eight against with eight clean sheets. On the injury front, strikers Harry Kane and Erik Lamela are both out of action along with defender Danny Rose.

Burnley FC vs Tottenham Hotspur – Takeaway:

Tottenham has to just keep on winning and hope that Chelsea slips up somewhere along the way. Burnley needs a few more points to safely stay above the relegation zone and will probably be happy with a draw here.
