They have eight wins, four draws and 18 losses with 36 goals for and a league-worst 63 against. The Swans are just one point in front of 18th-place Hull City and the final relegation spot. They have four wins, a draw and five losses in their past 10 league games while scoring 13 goals and allowing 18 against. Tottenham Hotspur – A Closer Look:

Tottenham is still the closest threat to Chelsea and narrowed their London neighbors lead to just seven points with their win at Burnley on the weekend. Spurs have a three-point lead on third-place Liverpool with a game in hand and are also four points ahead of Man City, nine in front of Man United and 11 upon Arsenal with United and Arsenal both having a game in hand. Spurs have a league-best seven wins, two draws and a loss in their past 10 league games with 20 goals for and seven against. They have five wins away from home this season along with six draws and three losses with 220 goals scored and 13 conceded. On the injury front, manager Mauricio Pochettino is hoping that midfielder Victor Wanyama and forward Vincent Janssen can dress. However, striker and leading scorer Harry Kane is sidelined along with defender Danny Rose and it looks like midfielder Harry Winks and forward Erik Lamela may be out for the season.

Swansea City vs Tottenham Hotspur – Takeaway

Both teams need as many points as possible for different reasons. But considering who they’re playing, Swansea may be happy with just a draw here.
