The Arizona Cardinals are now officially on a roll, with five straight victories, although some of the more recent wins have not left a lot of margin for error. On Sunday they pay a visit to the slumping St. Louis Rams, whose playoff hopes are just about shot. Game time is 1 PM ET at the Edward Jones Dome, and Vietbet customers can place wagers even after the opening kickoff, using the considerable facilities of Live Betting Extra.
Cardinals vs Rams – Vietbet NFL BETTING LINE:
In the NFL betting odds posted on this game by the people at Vietbet, Arizona is the favorite on the road:
- Arizona Cardinals -6
- St. Louis Rams +6
- Over 42.5 points -110
- Under 42.5 points -110
The Cardinals are the leaders in the NFC West, with a straight up record of 9-2. They have also gone 6-5 against the football pointspread. The Rams are 4-7 straight-up and 4-6-1 ATS.
St. Louis has lost four games in a row, and they were absolutely flat for the last one, a 31-7 pasting they took at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game Nick Foles was intercepted three times, so there are some lingering questions as to what St. Louis and head coach Jeff Fisher should do at the quarterback position.

This game amounts to revenge contest for the Cards, who suffered their first loss of the season at home against the Rams 24-22, as Todd Gurley, the standout rookie running back, exploded for 146 yards. Gurley has slowed down a bit, but he still a threat, averaging 4.8 yards a carry. Clearly he is a guy this team will have to lean on in this game.
That’s because Foles has hardly been an answer at the most important position on the field. Remember that he was acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles essentially in exchange for Sam Bradford, and his numbers have been disappointing – only 58% completions and more interceptions (nine) then touchdowns (seven). He’s been banged around the little this season, and there is a call on the part of some St. Louis fans for them to use rookie Sean Mannion, the third-round draft pick at Oregon State, who completed six out of seven passes in mop-up duty against Cincinnati last week.
Vietbet patrons know that Arizona has a lot of banged-up players right now, particularly in the receiver core, where Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and John Brown have been dealing with injuries. All of them were listed as questionable in the latest injury report. So is Andre Ellington, who had to leave last week’s game with a toe injury.
At quarterback, this game is no contest. Carson Palmer is establishing himself as a legitimate MVP candidate, with his 27 touchdown passes and 3337 yards. This is one of the more productive offenses in the league, and in fact they have gained more yards per drive than any other club in the NFL. St. Louis is literally at the other end of the scale, ranking dead last in yards per drive, and while the Cardinals have converted 47% of their third-down opportunities, and the Rams are at 26%, far and away the worst figure in the league this season.
