Manchester United still hasn’t been able to crack the top four of the English Premier League and they still won’t do it even with an away win at Turf Moor against Burnley FC this weekend. The two clubs are scheduled to meet on Sunday, April 23rd. Man United is coming off of a huge 2-0 home win over league-leading Chelsea last weekend while Burnley was beaten 3-1 away by Everton on Merseyside in Liverpool.

Manchester United has put together an impressive 22-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League with 12 wins and 10 draws and has climbed up to fifth place. Their goal now is a top-four finish and a spot in the Champions League. They trail cross-town rivals, fourth-place Manchester City by just four points and have a game in hand on their rivals. They’re also six points back of third-place Liverpool with two games in hand. United has 60 points on the season from 15 wins, 12 draws and a league low three defeats.
They’ve scored 48 goals and allowed just 24 against. United has lost just two of their past 36 contests in all competitions with 27 wins in their past 43 outings. United has nine wins, three draws and two defeats away fm home this campaign with 25 goals for and 13 against. As far as injuries go, midfielder Juan Mata and forward James Wilson are both expected to miss the rest of the season while defenders Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are sidelined and striker Wayne Rooney is questionable.

Even with their 22-game undefeated streak in the Premier League Man United hasn’t been able to climb into the top four. They’ll just have to keep earning three points from the likes of Burnley and hope one of the top four clubs slips up somewhere before the season’s over.
